Bob also helps architect unique, closed-loop promotions that forge ongoing relationships with customers, as well as strengthen brand identity and company image. He is a frequent keynote speaker, and has written numerous articles on trends in direct response advertising, as well as the specifics of relationship and database marketing.
David Tureson - Executive Vice President of Strategic Marketing Services
David joined Bob’s Team in 1997 as Vice President of Operations after 16 years with RR Donnelley in a variety of engineering and management capacities. Today, David leads SynchronUs in the areas of research, analytics, database marketing, data-driven marketing strategies and interactive channel development. His vision was the determining factor in SynchronUs’ early adoption of fully integrated customer relationship marketing, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, data mining and statistical analysis techniques for all media formats. David manages and coordinates data driven projects and data mining initiatives designed to support our clients’ diverse relationship marketing efforts. He directs data mining initiatives and develops a variety of models, including: response, predictive, conversion and zip+4 clusters using OLAP, SAS, SPSS and other in-house modeling tools. Dave’s insight helps clients make smarter marketing decisions toward increasing client sales, improving market penetration and improving profitability.
Terry Mertens - Creative Director
Terry has spent the bulk of his career leading in the development of creative marketing initiatives of all kinds, with a recent emphasis on measurable direct response programs. As Creative Director, he currently leads in the development and oversight of all creative marketing communications for the agency and its clients. A strategic thinker and professional writer by trade, Terry is keenly able to keep the big picture in focus while directing the creative process. From print to direct to interactive, as well as the integration of brand strategies across channels, he works hard to produce creative products that forge meaningful connections between consumers and the companies that court them. His diverse career experience includes direct marketing, loyalty marketing, branding, and general advertising for a wide variety of Fortune 1000 companies.
Tim Turbett - Creative Director
Tim is an innovative leader with a proven track record of creating breakthrough creative work in all forms of marketing and design disciplines, from product design to research, and concept development through production. Tim paired his background in art direction and graphic design with years of strategic marketing experience, resulting in the rare confidence to create, direct and manage the development of marketing solutions across a wide range of media. Dave has over 22 years of direct response agency experience, touching virtually all phases of the direct marketing process, from the development and execution of strategic planning to market analysis, creative development, and production fulfillment. Dave routinely, and efficiently, directs multi-media marketing campaigns within tight timelines and budget constraints. His account leadership experience spans a variety of industries, including Retail, Credit Card Services, Financial, and Entertainment.
